This week, we had some really interesting presentations in class. I thought that all of the tools that were presented would be very useful to secondary school teachers and the presentations on the SAMR model and cyberbullying were also beneficial to us as soon-to-be teachers.
Since our educational technology class focused on ways to use technology to enhance student learning, I would like to reflect on the presentation of the SAMR model. I thought the group clearly explained each component of the model and also thoroughly explained why it is an important model to consider when we are bringing technology into the classroom.

The SAMR model allows us to analyze how a certain technology can substitute a previous practice, augment the students’ learning, modify the lesson, and redefine it by creating new tasks for the students to expand their learning.
